Re: MySql.Data.EntityFrameworkCore and full .NET Framework

Come on Oracle, no one can give us an answer on this? I'm trying to use version and I'm running into the "Could not load file or assembly" error that others are running into. The release notes say this is supposed to work. Would it kill you to create a short example app that demonstrates how to get this working with a console app on the full .NET Framework? I tried registering the provider using the following in App.config to no avail.

<defaultConnectionFactory type="System.Data.Entity.Infrastructure.SqlConnectionFactory, EntityFramework" />
<provider invariantName="MySql.Data.MySqlClient" type="MySql.Data.MySqlClient.MySqlProviderServices, MySql.Data.Entity.EF6, Version=, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=c5687fc88969c44d" />
