Thanks for the info Ulf,
There is nothing wrong with the firewall, network or host name resolution. I ve restarted my DB instance too.. kindly let me know how could i check the status of x_server and how to restart it.
The driver I use for JDBC connection is : sapdbc-7_5_01_00.jar,
am i using the right driver for the JDBC connectivity?
