Hi Randy,

I must be doing something not right. Somehow it's not working for me.
It does not create a new file at all. I am sure, but don't I need to use a file handle to create/generate a new file?

Another question...
I need to generate two files one for '$date.'E.txt'' and the other for '$date.S.txt'. Can I put two variables like this...?

$sth = $dbh->prepare($sqlE, $sqlS);
