I dont use PHP
All data is entered from regular forms or ASP pages.
I also exported data directly from MS Access which shows the kanji and kana characters correctly from the start. Office is set to show all unicode formats for Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Arabic and UTF8 on my machine.

What I need is a simple example to make the dictionary table mutli lingual.
Regardless of which language is in the unicode columns in other words.

A freind of mine suggest saving everything as straight binary instead of unicode since the unicode is apparently posing problems for all other options. Especially when using multilingual features like I described in the final sample table.

Thanks for your help.

MySql newbie, using Win XP Pro SP1 / MySQL 5.0.19 Win-nt for dev. test and learning.
