Re: Oracle 8.1.7 to MySQL: problem with SP and sequences
Philip,
*) "missing or incomplete INDEXes". Which version of MySQL are you using? Such indices should be automatically created since 4.1.2. I will add the creation of indices if the user uses 4.0 as the target database.
*) "Maybe it helps if I just post some CREATE TABLE statements?" Yes, please do so.
*) "MT still doesn't specify a key length for MEDIUMTEXT columns in PRIMARY KEY definitions". If someone uses a MEDIUMTEXT column for a primary key then I would say "dann ist Hofen und Malz verloren". But I have put this on my todo list so it will be in one of the next releases.
*) "(2)" this is very strange. Because here I have it in "C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\Mike\Eigene Dateien\work\mysql-migration-tool\bin\windows" and it works right away. Could you try the noinstall version next time?
