Hi,
Within my first experiments, I got 3 hangs with MySQL built in DEBUG mode and tested under root.
Now, I've built MySQL in default (RELEASE) mode and I've tested it as not-root, and I again got a hang with test: innodb.blob-crash-4k .

So, since I never had any hang when testing MySQL on Fedora/x86_64 and AIX, I think that there is an issue on Fedora/PPC64LE.
I'll open a defect asap.
