Ugh this is so ....ahh lol...

When I up it via excel after changing the column format to yyyymmdd (tried yyyy-mm-dd too) and then setting it to Date before upping it the column shows up as 0000-00-00.

So I tried uping it via the default settings, char, and the date shows up as 1/1/2001. So then when I change the column to date in sql it turns the column to 0000-00-00.

When I have it in as char and the date shows up as 1/1/2001 and try to change it with the query it turns up null.
