Interesting that this seems to be a long running issue. I am new to MySQL and have just installed the current version of the community file. I am using Win 10 and Office 365 and have the same problem . the connections to the databases do not show up in Excel for MySQL. I can create the link fine, but no connections show up under "Open a MySQL Connection".
Is there any fix or workaround?
