Re: SAVEPOINTs and deadlocks
The problem is that when a deadlock occurs, the database rolls back to the START TRANSACTION - not to the last SAVEPOINT.
I thought that if you set a SAVEPOINT and then get a deadlock, it should roll back to that savepoint, not the whole transaction. Perhaps I have misunderstood this?
