I have this problem unless I edit the file DSN by hand to include server=, database=. user=, and password= params. Note if you let the ODBC control panel configure do it, user= morphs to uid= and it doesn't work.

So, I tried a User DSN.

This works fine with my linked tabkes until I quit and restart Access03.

Then I get connection failed messages.

The workaround to this is to go into Linked Table Manager and remake the exact same link.

Happiness is restored until the next time.

Here's hoping for the new version soon and planning to roll backwards until then.
