Hi,

I am using Eclipse 3.0.2 and configured SQLExplorer plugin.

I have downloaded mysql-3.23.49-win and mysql-connector-java-3.0.17-ga (MySQLConnector/J).

But have not installed the mysql in C drive.

The my.ini file also points to the proper (say L Drive) mysql installation.

MySQLConnector/J jar file has been properly configured using SQLExplorer plugin.

URL : jdbc:mysql://localhost/test

But when I try to open the "test" database using MySQLExplorer tool, I get the java.net.ConnectException: Connection Refused: connect

As I am a newbie, I would request your help on fixing this problem, please.
