Sorry for the months of delay between posts... I have been sidetracked with my schoolwork this semester. I hope you're still around...
Anyway, I have tried doing what you have said, without much success. Maybe I do not completely understand what you have done. Do you still have to refresh the links in code every time you load the database? Are you setting the connect string at that time? Or did you come up with a way of linking the tables once and for all, such that it is unnecessary to refresh the links later on?
Maybe it would be helpful if you actually showed some of the code you used.
