thanks for ur response..


im having my application in d: drive.The folder name is PAYROLL.Inside payroll i have some other folders data,spool,bin etc..

i have opened cmd prmt and did the following

d:
d:\cd Payroll
d:\Payroll\

i have a file named emphist.dbf in folder data
as u have told to type the file name and then dbf file name without extension for converting
d:\payroll\data>sampleconvert emphist

its saying sampleconvert is not recognised as internal or external comand

when i tried this
d:\payroll\data>convert emphist

its saying invalid drive specification.

dont know what to do

i have never used foxpro app before.

waiting for ur response
