Re: How to Raise Error ?

At the moment I seem it is easiest way to raise error in MySQL. Because there are no RAISE_APPLICATION_ERROR like in Oracle is. Using DDL function and inserting for tables for raising error in multiuser environment is not good. Only on ething that Server must not be in Strict mode when defining these triggers or procedure which raises errors by calling not existable procedures. Then you can set this mode back.
This is why I think that is better, Roland Bouman.
