Hi Jacob, it's nice that more people are using this functionality :)

To find the "Generic ODBC driver Setup" page, choose "User DSN" from the ODBC Administrator (or System DSN), click "Add", select a configured driver, and then this page will show up. The documentation now reflects this.

Regarding the note, good point, the note was updated.

The libiodbc-devel/libiodbc2-dev information was also updated, although the unixODBC vs iODBC part is still unclear to me so more on that to come.
