Here are the results from office add-in troubleshooting guide:
- Add-in is present in "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Excel\Addins" only for the Admin account!
Obviously the Add-In is only installed for the user account that was used to install MySQL. It is not installed for all users. If it were installed for all users the registry key would be "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\Excel\Addins".
This is a bug. The creators of the installation routine obviously did not know that there are many, many people who do their work with a no-admin-rights account.
