Yeah, I checked that, I also did Memory too. I do need transactions though. It just seems so odd that it is 10x slower. I can live with 1.5 - 2x slower. My client MUST be a .NET application and so I am stuck with SQL Server I guess.

I also tried CoreLab and no improvement there. So either the MySQL 5.0.18 is slower than SQL Server 2000 or something is wrong with setting for the connection. I have set it up with much things set to default as I did SQL Server.

I hope this is some kind of a glitch in settings. Anyone have suggestions or is it the .NET access that is slow?
