I have a understanding of programming, meaning i know what your talking about, can i write code no lol. I am learning php so i can manipulate code to do things i want, but cant whip it out on my own. I have cpanel on my website, where i can goto mysql which is more or less a web interface, i have made a database there, 1 table with the fields i need. In some way i need to make a form which the data from this form will dump into the database. The form needs to be accessed from or college website then when the students hit submit it puts data into the table i have made. Am i going in the right direction? Can this even be done this way, or am i wasting time? Does this need to be hand coded from step 1? I have a working knowledge of .net also, i could very easily whip the form up there(easy part) but making the form and the database work together is my hangup. Bottom line is i said i would do this, and i am not backing down, i have read and read for 2 days now and this is where i am at. DB is built like i said above(through cpanel/mysql) is this a waste of time, and what do i need to atack next?
