No, there isn't and timeout. I would have to build it from scratch. Not that difficult, really.

However, I wonder if there are other problems. That is, there are many things that can cause an Arduino to hang. Chief among those are memory issues. It is possible you are overwriting memory. Another possibility is your server becomes unreachable. I would also be concerned about the rest of the code.

Can you send me your code at chuck.bell@oracle.com? I'll take a look at it and see if anything jumps out. Please include your modifications of the connector so that I can see if there is anything there that may need tweaking.
