In local mysql clients running against MySQL 5.7 and 8.0, each on a SSD, that 21MB dump script runs in 7 secs against 5.7.33, in 20 sec against 8.0.23, but the actual Insert times are identical, eg with the bdetails table ...

... which shows that the 13-second performance difference is attributable to additional 8.0 housekeeping.
