You already reproduced it.

I am going to record the entire experiment and put it on youtube and share the link with you.
by the entire experiment, I mean installing every server version from 5.0 till 8.0 and doing the same database restore.
Would you like that?

I don't have a problem with 5.5 and I won't be upgrading to the other versions until they are at the same performance or slightly more.
