Has anyone been able to solve this issue yet. Using Visual Studio 2003, .NET connector 1.0.7 and MySQL 5.0. The application was working well on the developer machine where the server was localhost, then one day it started giving that error message. Strange thing is when the application is deployed elsewhere it works with no problems???

Server is running, port is default, can access the server outside the application no problem
