Re: MySQL Server 8.0.29 failed install (server won't start)

Hello Jose,

I found the logs file and these are the errors that it was showing.
I did not change the defaults however I did rename the service to MySQL82.
By default it was MySQL80 however that installation did not work so I had to rename the service when I tried to re-install it.

There is no data folder in "C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 8.0" folder there is only an empty bin folder.

mysql-installer Error: 50 : The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion

mysql-installer Error: 50 : No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:3306

mysql-installer Information: 10 : Unknown error: One or more errors occurred.
