Re: Has anyone found a Viable Solution?

I wonder if the developers of MySQL have seen this thread and perhaps may be able to determine if it's a code problem. My server was running perfectly for a long time before this problem appeared. In fact, the server ran with the same load for 7 months (not continuously but almost continuously) without a problem. I was running 4.0.22 and I upgraded to 4.0.25 in the midst of debugging the problem. So it wasn't due to a server upgrade/new code.

But it is strange that the server could run for so long with the same load before the problem appeared now it won't run three days without the need for a reboot or flush tables. (Flush tables does work for me, it works at least to keep things at bay so I don't have to reboot but once every 10 days instead of 3.)

I know enough to be dangerous. Thanks for being patient!
