I know this is an old post but I found this to be on the top of the list in google when I searched for error 193 qnd error 0

No need to remove any folders or you do not need to go into regedit

The problem is there is a file named mysqlnt in your mysql folder, you just need to place a .old behind it then go to your services and to mysql properties and add .exe in the parameter and it will fire right up..

have fun
