I failed to installed MySQL as it could not start MySql,

Solve :
Stop the service MySQL (Control Panel -Administration ->Services)
re-launching MySql through Start -> All Programs -> MySql -> MySQL Server 5.1 -> MySql Server Instance Config Wizard
Now services started successfully, but install stop at Security Level with error with port 3306 , no permission given to access root@localhost.
Solve: Went on All Programs -> MySql -> MySQL Server 5.1 -> MYSQL Command Line Client, launch, Dos windows will open -> requesting for a password, eventually root password.when typing the password I configured MySQL, access denied ,wrong password.
Strangely, when typing anything in password, access was possible.
Thus, simple, reconfig MySQL, Existing password is null and input your new password.
MySQL installed successfully. Hope it solve your problem ;-)
