SOLUTION TO : can't connect to MySql server on 'localhost' <10061>

Hello everybody,

I had the same error as described. I then noticed that the localhost access was denied via the cmd.exe but not via the MySQL Command Line Client.

The solution for me was to use the configuration tool in order to ALLOW THE TCP/IP connections.

Check then if your Firewall does not block the port used by this TCP/IP connection...

Then it worked well for me.
