ANOTHER SOLUTION (10061 Error)

Muy buenas:

I´m a newbie in this matter and I expended a good time trying to resolve the problem. In my case, I´m working with Vista Home Premium, 2Gb,CoreQuad processor.
The solution I found is as follows:

I have not enable Windows firewall.Instead, Norton Internet Security(NIS) firewall is active. So, I added a new port (3309 in this case) to MySql, Mysqld,MysqlInstanceConf and Mysqlshow in "Programs Control" screen, in the the Intelligent Firewall configuration of NIS. Then, the connection worked fine.
I expect this be helpfull for some of you.
