I don't know if someone has said this yet, lots of replies to go through and I have little time, but!

I had the same problem and fixed it by making sure that the fields were identical in both tables, ie. structure. In the first example, test2 pk_alias2 had unsigned in there, test1 pk_alias didn't, add unsigned in the first and it should all work :)
