Hi,

One thing I've noticed is that when creating foreign keys, both the columns must be of the same type. So, for example, if there is a table called user_type with primary key type_id(int) and another table user with column type_id(smallint), then making user.type_id as foreign key won't work because user_type.type_id and user.type_id are different field types. I hope this helps.
